26.03.22At the base of Mount Roland, these cottages are rustic and lovely in beautiful surrounds, with some onsite walks . Well equipped kitchen and comfortable in every way with a nice firm bed. The owner John is old style, spends time with patrons and is proud if the surrounding area, happy to share delights. The nearby town ( about 10km) of Sheffield is beautiful with mural displays, pubs, cafes, supermarket etc. About 40 mins form the beautiful Cradle Mountain.

The indoor heated pool is a big win for families with kids, and the location is ideal – just a 10-minute drive to Tasmazia. Our children absolutely loved it! The host is warm, welcoming, and full of local knowledge that really enhances the stay.

25.05.26 Silver Ridge is indeed a fabulous retreat - surrounded by a serene lake, farm animals, wallabies, rolling farmland and the imposing Mount Roland. The scenery was amazing and the host John Sinclair shared a lot of history of the Retreat.
Me and my wife nearly missed the entrance to Silver Ridge in the night (a lamp would be wonderful)
