26.03.24My adult daughter and I stayed for one night, at the Wheelhouse, , and we will be back…..for a longer stay! We absolutely loved our accommodation! Very clean, very comfy and the location and view was outstanding! It was our first time to Strahan, (we’re from Canberra, ACT), but won’t be our last! Thankyou for such a wonderful stay!
25.08.20 Had a 2 night stay. Unique looking place. Magnificent views. Very roomy and comfy. Need to be reasonably ft if you want to use upstairs bedroom if carrying large suitcase. Best view of river from upstairs bedroom. Our second time stay here, Only downside, need to be over 6feet to get thing in and out of microwave comfortably
25.02.26 Ideal location, beautiful panoramic views, very well equipped and spacious. Would certainly recommend
25.01.02 Checkout time should be 11am as you need some time to sleep in and have a relaxing breakfast. Blinds or curtains would also help as it’s very bright in the morning. Stunning views and great location.
24.10.04 Walking in you are hit with the view which was AMAZING. There are some maintenance issues which did not impact on our stay but for the price would have expected to be addressed. The aircon was not working properly (filter was filithy so this may be why) so would not recommend staying in winter, the upstairs shower leaked outside and there is a hole in the floor in the downstairs bathroom. There are nil blinds so take an eye mask if you like to sleep in.
