Our family of four were very happy with our stay in a quad room. It was exactly like the pictures. We are in the pub and food was good. With the included breakfast factored i. It represented excellent value for money.

I’d say, the location of this hotel is really good, super worth how much you’re paying for the night. The staff and the room itself was decent, good enough for a 4 night stay for us. The free breakfast was really nice too! Bed was comfy, toilet was clean. However, do note that it is a old building, and it certainly shows. Floorboards are creaky and the room is noisy because of the mini fridge. We might have also be given the worse room possible - it’s close to a small flight of stairs from the lift which everyone uses, so we can hear them walking by right outside our door as the walkway is narrow. Also, the room is right in front of another door that leads to the staircase to the ground floor. We can hear every step taken on the creaky floors and on top of that, that door slams shut whenever someone uses it and it can be clearly heard from our room. We didn’t get a good sleep for some of the nights. I believe if we got other rooms, it would’ve been a better experience.

Charming old building, friendly staff, excellent location close to everything. Ok breakfast.

Very noisy, people coming in late banging doors, talking loudly. Pipes banging, could hear when toilets above were being flushed. Room on second floor, got out of lift had to carry bags down 10 steps then up 3 to get to room. All rooms on 3rd floor only access by 15 steps up. Breakfast was fantastic and one of best features.
