Cradle Mountain Hotel

Very nice stay, my friend and I were given an upgrade with nice view. Managed to see 1 wallaby and 1 echidna in the vicinity. Would have been perfect if there was microwave facility and if there was aurora! Also very near to cradle mountain walks and trails. Opposite shop and gallery also has interesting souvenir options. Overall, enjoyed the stay!

Hotel is located near to the cradle mountain visitor centre, about 2 minute drive away. All staff was friendly, warm and welcoming. Thoroughly enjoyed my 2 nights stay there. So close to nature .

Location is perfect for this hotel. Stunning views of nature and Cradle Mountain surrounding, and of course the trails and walks that go with it. Front desk staff and restaurant staff were great. Housekeeping did not bring towels as requested. The room is spacious but quite old or “charming” as one might put it, but for a four star hotel I would expect much more updating for modern amenities. The bathroom was quite old and had dirty corners, especially in the shower. Definitely needs updating. Beds were also bowing in the middle due to how old they were. Restaurant food and drink was excellent but pricey. Would stay again only because of lack of decent options in Cradle Mountain.

Provided with Queen Size bed for two instead of King Size. Bed seems a little too soft.

Very convenient for cradle mountain trip!
