We spent 5 nights here, 2 in a deluxe room with Jacuzzi and 3 in a standard room (only combination available) and ended up paying 160 EUR per night on average. The good: rooms are spacious and clean, furniture a bit old but still in good condition. Balconies are nice and bathrooms are big and well equipped. Staff is nice and polite. They try their best to be helpful. Yard is nice and well maintained. Location is pretty good in an area with some nice cafes and restaurants, close to the beach, but out of the busy crazy area of the center. The bad: breakfast is expensive. We haven't tried it, but a breakfast buffet that costs more than a really good main in a nice restaurant in the area seems kinda dumb. The airport transfer is 1500 php for an 8.5km drive. Very expensive by Philippines standards. For the return I complained a bit and they managed to get me a car for 1000. The concrete around the pool is worn down and kinda ugly. The pool is clean but it desperately needs a new coat of paint, the old peeling paint makes the water look green and dirty. The interaction with the staff feels a bit "robotic" and fake at times, like they are trying a bit too hard and they come off as mocking you. When I checked out i had a 2000 php bill and I was confused where part of it came from. Apparently so was the lady at the desk because the explanations weren't very clear, but I just paid it and left it at that. I feel like the value for money isn't that amazing in this place.

We paid an average of 150 EUR per night which I think is a bit overpriced. The positive: the rooms are spacious and clean. Furniture is a bit old but still in good condition. Was a bit weird that in the "cheaper" room there was no mirror outside the bathroom and no nightstand lamps, things that cost pretty much nothing and should probably be available in a 135EUR/night room. They charge 1500 php for an airport transfer which is an 8.5km drive. That is enormous for the Philippines, I payed 1000 for a 20km drive in Panglao and 800 for a 10ish km in Cebu. I can understand Palawan is popular and more expensive...but double? They're not very flexible with stuff from the restaurant/bar. My girlfriend was feeling sick one day and I went to the bar and asked for some water and a bit of lemon juice. They poured a bit of calamansi juice and plain water in a glass and charged me around 350 php for a "calamansi shake". It's not about the money but the ridiculousness of the situation. When checking out i was charged around 2000 php and I'm quite confused where it came from. The lady at the desk seemed pretty confused as well, i had around 1000 restaurant tab, and the rest was laundry which she was saying is either 680 or 390, she kept changing her mind, and 1 chocolate from the room which was like 60 php. Anyway, I just paid it and left, I didn't feel like wasting more time. Again, it's not about the money, it wasn't a big sum, it just felt odd and disorganized. For a hotel that charges this much I feel like such things shouldn't happen. Overall we had a pretty nice time there in the end, I just think that dor what we paid you can find better places in the area, we probably just booked too late and the options were thin.

This is not a resort—just a small hotel, and it’s highly overpriced for what it offers. The rooms are decent, and the balconies are spacious and a nice place to relax. However, the breakfast is far below expectations, and the swimming pool is in very poor condition with yellowish water—not something you’d want to use.
