26.03.21The hotel appears to be quite pleasant on arrival however the room wasn’t very clean
The bed frill very dirty and there were dusty corners The glass was smudged.and we had the feeling it could be cleaner
The room itself was spacious and had a nice bathroom
The restaurant had a conference on so we were told to take the meal in our room
Breakfast was included but even the eggs were cold
26.01.31I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Crystal Jade Hotel.
All members of staff working at the reception and the breakfast room as well as cleaning staff were very friendly and always smiling. This is one of the most important things that made my stay very comfortable.
Breakfast menu includes a wide variety of food; not only Thai, Western but also some tastes of Japanese food. One morning I found 'Chicken Teriyaki' and other morning 'Chicken Cottelette' and 'Miso Soup'. Usually, the breakfast includes; steamed rice, fried rice, rice porridge, salad, yoghurt, sauteed vegetables, fried meat, fish dish, fried noodle, fried eggs, pan cakes, corn flakes, toasts, roll breads, and three different kinds of fruits. I enjoyed a few glasses of guava juice every morning, which was something that I cannot drink in my home country.
The room was spacious, having a large sitting area, with a very comfy sofa, and kitchen facilities. Having a microwave was extremely useful, too.
The hotel has a small swimming pool, and there were plenty of wooden chairs and tables around it. I have found that it was a very good place to work with my laptop computer, to read books and to relax, of course.
It is a good 20-minute walking distance between the hotel and the big Lotus' supermarket, shopping centre, Bus Terminal 1 and Night Bazaar. I came to Rayong from Bangkok Ekkamai by mini-van and I asked my driver to drop me off after passing Passione Shopping Mall, which was really handy as it was a short walk to the hotel. Also, you can find 7-Eleven just around the corner.
All in all, I do strongly recommend this hotel to anyone. I really enjoyed my stay there!
