26.04.24We had a pleasant stay at Evergreen Suite Hotel Surat Thani during our 2-night visit as a group of five, occupying three rooms. As we were travelling with an elderly family member using a wheelchair, we truly appreciated the thoughtful gesture by the hotel in assigning us ground-floor rooms, which made accessibility much easier. The bellboy was also consistently helpful, always available to guide us with parking, assist in pushing our wheelchair up the slope into the hotel lobby and loading our luggage during check-in and check-out.
Although the hotel does not provide breakfast, we found the complimentary bread, coffee, tea, and water available at the lobby throughout the day to be a nice touch. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, offering useful recommendations on attractions such as Khao Na Nai Luang Dharma Park and breakfast spots, including Jek Bak Dim Sum.
The hotel location is also a strong plus point, being just a short 5-minute walk to the city pillar shrine, Ko Lamphu Park, and the riverfront promenade, where the Saturday night market takes place.
That said, there are a couple of areas for improvement. Soundproofing could be better. We were occasionally disturbed by housekeeping activity and conversations along the corridor as early as 8am. In addition, there was some confusion regarding laundry services. We initially sent a batch of clothes for washing upon check-in, but were later informed the next day that such services were not available, and that we should instead use a nearby laundry shop about 5 minutes away.
Overall, the hotel offers good value, a convenient location, and attentive service, though clearer communication and improved sound insulation would enhance the experience further.
26.01.30 Evergreen Suite Hotel Suratthani was a great choice for my stay. Clean and comfortable room was my top priority, and the hotel met it perfectly. The location is convenient, easy to get around the city, and close to local amenities. The hotel offers excellent value for money, with spacious rooms and well-maintained facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful, making the stay smooth and pleasant. I would definitely stay here again when visiting Surat Thani.
