26.05.10The view was spectacular. The location is very close to the lake, which was a big plus. The rooms are spacious.
Haven't had a room cleaned even once in 2 days. The place has some ant infestation issues. If you don't have your own transport, getting in and out of the hotel might be an issue.
26.04.14How can a hotel with a name like Mountain View have rooms without windows?
26.04.08If you stay on the 2nd floor up, you can see the sunrise view and the morning fog. There is no elevator, but it’s a short walk up from the parking lot, which is in the back of the building. The location is 1-2 km from Ta Khun city, it will be very convenient if you have your own transportation. There is a swimming pool in front of the building. They have breakfast for a price, but we chose to eat in the city because we went to Khao Na Nai Luang Temple early in the morning, which is 30 min away by car.
26.03.25Rooms were dated and run down. The manager was very run and aggressive.
Would not stay again
26.03.16Unfortunately, my stay was very disappointing. The room was run down, with broken furniture and dirty walls.
There was also an issue with my booking. I booked one room last minute through Agoda but was mistakenly charged for two rooms. I brought this to the attention of the hotel and they were fully aware the I only checked in to one room
Agoda confirmed they were willing to issue a refund with the hotel's agreement, but the hotel refused to approve it and continued to charge me for both rooms, despite the hotel appearing to have many empty rooms.
When I tried to resolve the situation, the person who identified himself as the “boss” became slightly aggressive and raised his voice at me. As a female solo traveller, this made me feel intimidated and uncomfortable.
Overall, the condition of the room and the way this issue was handled made the experience very frustrating.
