더 스파 꼬창 리조트 (SHA Extra Plus)

This is a very peaceful place for people who want to stay in a green area. The resort has many activities for everyone. We didn’t have our own car, but we the resort dropped us off at the mangrove, restaurants, and the pier at the villages nearby. We hired a small boat to go on an island nearby. The prices of everything were reasonable. We did everything we wanted to do on that side of the island, then we moved to the more developed side. It’s really a great place for wellness with a friendly team of staff. If you want to go around to restaurants and nightlife, don’t choose this place. Its not what you want. Wellness in a beautiful spa vibe with s what it is.

When chosing our place to stay on Koh Chang we were torn between going to the east or west coast. This resort is a bit remote on the east coast, meaning that there is no generic tourist landscape (bars, shops, crowded beaches). For us, this was just perfect since we prefer to have a relaxed environment but without the feeling of mass tourism. During our five nights we spent two days in the resort, by the pool, having massages or cycling to the nearby fishing village. The resort offers great activities for everyday, free of charge! The other days we rented a scooter that allowed us to explore the island on our own. We enjoyed our stay and could have easily extended for another few days without getting bored.
