A hidden gem! Highly recommended. This motel deserves more attention! It offers a great, highly convenient location—tucked less than 100 meters off the main road on the way to Lake Matheson, ensuring a peaceful stay without sacrificing accessibility. The space is clean, spacious, and features warm sheets and a radiator that works perfectly. The room is well-equipped with most cooking tools and appliances (microwave, toaster, multi-cooker, small toaster oven) you need in a remote area like Fox Glacier, and even a Nespresso coffee machine. Shower amenities are available too. Parking is right in front of your door, making unpacking effortless. There is laundry machines available for use too. The reception staff is friendly and provides fantastic recommendations on where to eat and see the sights. I would totally stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area!

The motel is in a very good location in Fox Glacier. It is a short drive to the Glacier view point and Lake Matheson. Also, the park with many glow worms is within walking distance. There is also a nice restaurant nearby. We enjoyed our 1-night stay in Rainforest Motel.
