26.03.19Room was spacious and clean with decent size bathroom. Some renovation would be nice to get rid of that old motel stink but overall a budget friendly accommodation in a good location specially if you are going Tongariro alpine crossing trail

25.09.15Quite creepy in the night because it was so dark when you have to go back your room.
Shower doesn't have any rack to place stuff, also shower was not good when you use hot water.

26.04.10The location was fine for us since we were interested only in the hikes in the area. The cleanliness needs work— it was very difficult to get our pots and pans and dishes clean because they didn’t provide anything to scrub the pots with besides washcloths. Clearly some money needs to be put back into the facility to upgrade things a bit.
