Booked through an Agoda special and this stay exceeded expectations from start to finish. The reception and overall service were genuinely world-class — warm, attentive, and effortless without feeling overly formal. What stood out immediately was the balance this property achieves between sophistication and comfort. The restaurant menu is refined enough for travelers who appreciate quality food and thoughtful presentation, yet still approachable for a relaxed and enjoyable dinner experience. The panoramic views from the restaurant are simply breathtaking and elevate the entire dining atmosphere. As travelers who value art, design, comfort, and authentic local character over generic luxury, we were pleasantly surprised by the curated art displays throughout the property and especially enjoyed learning about their connection with the Wilderness Art Association. The rooms are beautifully designed with a layout that feels both stylish and practical, complemented by high-end appliances and thoughtful finishing touches that make the stay feel effortless. The spa was an unexpected added bonus and completed the experience perfectly. Highly recommended for travelers who appreciate understated luxury, good food, art, scenic beauty, and a calm, polished atmosphere rather than overcrowded commercial resorts.

This hotel gives beautiful attention to detail, and the staff is exceptional. The spa is a must visit.

Fantastic hotel with best view. Facilities amazing and wonderful food. We just had a problem when we booked in. I made the reservation via Agoda and paid immediately a day before we booked in. But when we arrived at reception they were not informed about my reservation. The manager was called and the whole situation turned out very unprofessional by the manager. For a 5 star hotel I did not expect this. After the issue was cleared - (where the fault was on the hotel's side and not on mine - I had to try and contact Agoda as she was not helping and just said there no booking) there was not even an apologise from the manager. The employee (Thabo) at the reception was kind and tried his best but the manager was not helpful. it is truly a beautiful hotel and I just decided to enjoy my one night and not to dwell over the booking issue but for a 5 star hotel it was unnecessary and unprofessional.

Room 19 - the room description fails to accurately describe the room as positioned at the back of the hotel with windows facing directly on to other holiday flats on the southern border substantially reducing your privacy (line of sight to the sea ) .On the south western side (rear of hotel and suite) is a service station and regional road within ear shot on its south western boarder (at the rear). The road noise from early morning traffic (trucks ) is very audible. The location of the TV set directly in front of the bed completely obscures the sea view from the bed.Other than this the hotel, restaurant and staff were great.
