26.03.01Stayed there for one night and loved it. The whole estate was giving off rustic charm vibes. We had dinner there and the food was amazing The staff were so hospitable and friendly.

25.11.20We had such an amazing and relaxing time. Every staff member was so helpful, friendly and kind. The scenery is breathtaking with the mountains and vineyards. Thankyou for making our stay so memorable. We highly recommend Wedgeview for your next stay in Stellenbosch!

24.09.30It’s a beautiful place to stay when you want to discover the area of Stellenbosch. It’s very quiet, amazing view, great stuff, great food and wine. We enjoyed it a lot!

24.09.13Lovely hotel next to but not part of the vineyards, located conveniently between Cape Town for exploring there and Cape Point, and the winelands.
Decent car park, area felt very safe, lovely big rooms, lovely pool area (too cold for us when we went ), great little gym , cosy sitting room with fire, airy restaurant with good selection of breakfast and of course spectacular views.
Staff were fabulous, friendly, efficient, especially Fundo who made us feel very welcome when we first arrived.
And yes, generally the hotel is a little tired and in my view more of a 4 star, but we were all happy to pay a fair price for excellent service etc rather than twice as much after a refurb!

26.03.07The place is rated 5 star which is misleading, nothing about it is even close to a 4 star. The 5 star rating creates an expectation that everything will be of a high standard(Welcoming, room, service, cleanliness etc), none was above average. I think the rating should change to 3 star so that the expectations can be realistic.
