We stayed for a weekend, walking distance from Kalkbay restaurants. Friendly staff, by the beach, great breakfast. Close to a busy road and no aircon, might be a problem if you want a quiet cool room. We loved it

We enjoyed our one night stay. The location is wonderful and in walking distance from the village of Kalk Bay.

A sweet beachfront property. Danger Beach is right across the street and through a tunnel under the railroad tracks. Beautiful ocean sunrises! Good coffee - the French press in the room was most welcome. And great value for the money. Not modern luxury - the door used a skeleton key, so more like a well-appointed homestay with charm from many decades past. The staff was great!

We booked a king room and got given a queen. We then got transferred to another property, which was brand new and we got a king bed but the room missed a few amenities such as a kettle, coffee and fan.

Great proximity to Danger Beach. No bar or drinks available on site so bring your own. Our room was decorated nicely but the bathroom needs TLC.
