The place is just wow in terms of the views. The rooms are quite nice as well. In off seasons there is hardly anyone at the property which makes it a little scary in the night specially with heavy wind gusts.

Travelled with my friend and we both thought the whole place was so nice and peaceful. It's ingeniously situated at the very edge of Swellendam, so it's close to nature and all rooms have a peaceful forest view. Room felt very spacious, with a bath tub and all, comfy bed, aircon, fridge, and a big terrace where you can sit and look out. The photos undersell the place. Parking right by your cottage. Nice pool (unheated). At breakfast our table was already ready and food was home made and very tasty. I'm still missing the pancakes. No dinner but plenty of restaurants in the area (5m drive).
