We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. We could walk to seafront promenade as well as restaurants. Good secure gated parking. Breakfast was very nice with lots of options. Staff were excellent all the way around. Would definitely stay here again.

Quite a gem of a place. Although it's small, the place is quite nice. It has most of what you need when staying at a hotel. We enjoyed the jacuzzi, pool, peaceful atmosphere and the staff are all very friendly and attentive. The breakfast was well prepared and the options were also quite to our liking. I would definitely recommend The One 8. What makes it also a great place is the location. There are many options for tourists or couples looking to explore or just enjoy a walk at the V&A waterfront.

We had a wonderful stay at the One 8 Hotel. From the moment we arrived, the hospitality was warm and genuine. Chris, the host, was incredibly welcoming and went out of his way to make sure everything was comfortable and that we had what we needed. The service was excellent. Judith and Martha, the chefs, prepared delicious meals and always greeted us with kindness and a smile. Their accommodation to our food requirements or preferences was much appreciated. The hotel itself is well-kept, clean, and has a very relaxing atmosphere. Thanks to Chris, Judith, and Martha for making our stay so memorable.

Very welcome staff, beutifull room and view of the mountain, good bed and big bathroom with lovely soap and cream. We will be back. Close to all the shops. Loved it.

Had trouble going up the stairs to room 3 due to a severe knee problem. There are no lifts. They subsequently moved us to floor 1 room 7 the next day which was much better & the room was much better than the 1st one. It was modern & welcoming. The 1st room was not appealing at all. Everything was old fashioned except for the bathroom. Both rooms did not have a microwave. Great service from staff overall.
