Nice small lodge with a few issues. Like I was staying in an 8-bed dorm which had only two power points. One was almost always occupied by one the guys. I had to use another one close to the door every time I had to charge my phone.

I enjoyed my stay at Ashanti Lodge. The staff are very friendly and so helpful, and so accommodating, any problem you have, they are willing to assist as best as they can which I really appreciated! The lodge is walking distance from Kloof street and there's a checkers near by (about 6minute walk) There's a nice pool area at the lodge if you want to cool down, chat with other guests and have a nice drink. There's a bar upstairs that serves pub grub, drinks and a good breakfast. Conveniently placed bathrooms and showers that are cleaned daily. And I love that there's a kitchen as well. The only inconvenience I found was that in the dorms, there are no plug points next to the beds :( ... Other than that, I would recommend Ashanti Lodge gardens.

Safe, comfy, clean, beautiful location, beautiful building, friendly staff, such a vibe- actually.. I'll stay anytime
