Beautiful breakfast served by happy attentive staff. Lovely room

Our two nights at Macaron Guesthouse were fantastic. Franschhoek is stunning and Macaron is a short walk from the best of the town. We greatly enjoyed our breakfast in the garden before heading out to the wine farms for the day.

A luxury boutique hotel very close to the heart of Franschhoek which manages to be peaceful and restful while being a stone's throw from many great restaurants, galleries, shops and markets. Not cheap, but value given F'Hoek inflated prices.

Excellent location - just off the main street through Franschoek - easy access to shops, restaurants and facilities.Beautiful gardens and so tranquil - lots of spaces to relax in . Only disappointment was the pool - looked so inviting on line and we were really looking forward to using it - but there was no hand rail or any means of support to assist me going in or out of the pool

Thoroughly enjoyed out stay at Macaron. Staff were very friendly and always willing to assist. Lovely breakfast spread in the morning. Highly recommended.
