22.11.10 This was a really terrific location with out of this world service. The staff cannot do enough and always help.
The afternoon/ dusk game drive was far too short, is my only negative. Everything else really couldn’t be any better.
22.09.03 My husband and I booked Black Rhino to celebrate our wedding anniversary. It was an amazing trip! On the day of our anniversary, we were treated to a beautiful table for two, set apart from the rest of the guests, with candles and flowers. When we arrived back at our chalet, the bed had been decorated with petals, we had been given a complimentary bottle of champagne accompanied by a note from the staff wishing us on our anniversary. It was so special!
Apart from that, the staff are so friendly and nothing is too much trouble, and the food is delicious (and never seems to stop coming!!) We had fantastic game drives, taken by a very knowledgeable and professional ranger and we had some amazing sightings of cheetah and rhino (among the many other beautiful animals, birds and plants we saw).
We would highly recommend this gem of a lodge and can’t wait to get back!
22.08.17 The ranger did not care at all. What he bumped into was what we saw. Never tried to find anything. I'm so tired of MacDonald's of the bush and all those nonsense sayings.
We had a rat in our room and it pooped on the bed and my sons face. Disgusting. Overall I would NOT recommend this place to anyone
22.04.18 Family friendly and fantastic service. Many of the reviews mentioned disappiontment with the food, they much have made some changes as we found all of the food as incredibly delicious!
