I booked the deluxe room and was given an older room with 2 beds in an old section of the hotel that had baaad smell. I wasn’t aware the hotel was going through ‘renovations’ and looked so old and different from the pictures online. I raised an issue with the incorrect smelly room and the man by reception said he would change it to the newer section of the hotel and made it sound like a favour WHEN the new room was the one I booked and paid for anyway.. the passage there also smelled off, like mould and wet carpet, including the room initially.
