26.05.20Our room had 1 window facing into storage/ staff toilet area 2metres away.
Nó ventilation.
No soap, cockroach in the microwave,kettle must stand on suitcase to boil.
They said it is a 4 star, I would give it a 1 or 2(maybe)
26.05.17After travelling from JHB for 8 hours, was looking forward to good rest on arrival 6.30 pm at hotel.
Could not get entry into premises.
Worst experience. Gate buzzer access does not work, broken.
Got out the car and stood for 20 minutes in pouring rain to get attention from someone to open gate.
Tried calling their number on landline, no answer.
I could see the reception office, but no one there.
Finally another guest who had also booked online arrived there now 7.15pm, he was also frustrated could not gain entry.
Luckily he had a contact number to get us in.
A male attendant arrived and checked us in and informed us that they close check in at 7 pm.
But I arrived at 6.30 pm.
No apologies from the attendant.
Next morning, I request an iron to press my shirt ,
While chewing on gum and busy on her phone , I was told they do not have an iron an one should carry their own.
My question to her was if you an international traveller, are you expected to carry your own iron.
Very, very bad experience
26.05.12The smell on the bedding was terrible, i had to remove them and took my person bedding. the shower and toilet is extremely narrow and they are connectd to jojo tanks, pressure of water was very low to have a decent shower. I live nearby and was doing some renovations at home, so knowing the area has expectations and booked , without checking much. i understand its a bnb , but neatness and that smell, eish ,,,at least use a fabric softner or a strong detergent smell would be better.
26.05.12I have never booked a place with no iron in my entire life!
