26.03.05Large and lovely hotel with beautiful gardens and spacious rooms. Breakfast was great! will definitely stay again if I have business in the area.
26.01.19I was genuinely impressed with everything about Kleinkaap Boutique Hotel. The gardens are absolutely beautiful and full of birdlife, which creates such a peaceful atmosphere. The decor is elegant without feeling overdone, and the rooms and furniture are comfortable, stylish, and thoughtfully chosen.
The food was excellent, and the staff were warm, professional, and attentive throughout our visit. Everything felt effortless and well run. It’s rare to find a place where every detail is this well considered.
I’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend Kleinkaap for weddings, conferences, family gatherings, or even just breakfast, lunch, dinner, or sundowners. A truly perfect experience from start to finish.
25.02.24A truly beautiful place with friendly and accommodating staff. It’s a little slice of whimsy nestled away from the rest of the world. Loved the food, breakfast was a balanced and generous offering. Our room was comfortable and spacious, although underneath the bed visibly hadn’t been cleaned in a while and there were a few cobwebs on the side tables and chandelier, but the place is on the older side so I understood some of it came with the territory. The bathroom was amazing, super clean and also very big. The television was cute although small, we appreciated all the offerings for entertainment. I would give the overall experience an 8/10, only because the one main caveat was the unstable wi-fi, otherwise it would be a 9. The ducks were also a huge highlight, so cute! Thank you to Kleinkaap, looking forward to meeting again :)

23.10.05Oh, the symphony of questionable decisions at this hotel! Picture this: we, the unwitting stars of a musical comedy, found ourselves trapped in a cacophonic carnival of sounds during our Pretoria escapade for an international sporting event. Ah, Friday night—a time meant for lullabies and dreams—but no, the hotel had a different score in mind, pumping out tunes like they were auditioning for the next big hit.
In this hotel, the walls have ears—quite literally! The music was so lively, it felt like the function was auditioning for "The Loudest Gig in Town" right outside our window. We summoned the brave reception, hoping they held the conductor's baton of peace. Alas, they informed us that this was a Friday night ritual. Note to self: never underestimate the power of a hotel's weekly jam session.
Undeterred, we attempted an early retirement on Saturday night at a mere 9 pm—because, you know, the family lifestyle is all the rage. But alas, the hotel's music director had other plans, orchestrating a crescendo of decibels that would make Beethoven blush. When inquiring with management, we received an encore of excuses fit for a comedy club: "This is a hotel AND a venue, dear Sir!"
Oh, the grand opera of miscommunication! We proposed a simple request: why not share this vital information during the day or the previous night? Perhaps a memo? A carrier pigeon with a note? Alas, their response remained as consistent as an off-key karaoke rendition—a resounding chorus of, "This is a hotel AND a venue, dear Sir!"
In the end, we learned a valuable lesson: if you stay at this hotel, pack your earplugs and bring your best jazz hands, for you are about to star in the musical of a lifetime. Bravo, hotel, bravo!
