26.03.23-Opted for the 1-bed apartment over another hotel in the segment after I got a better rate with far more:
=Apartment is fully kitted out and 'full sice': large kitchen with washing machine, dishwasher, and fridge.
-bedroom with BICs large enough for a permanent resident:
-check in and out quick, seamless
Staff: a delight and helpful from the cleaners to front desk.
We'll certainly be staying here again!
26.03.11 I would not recommend The Residency/Mint to anyone.We booked and paid for 2 nights but we slept only one night after we discovered that the entire apartment wasn't cleaned on the previous check out. The bed linen wasn't changed, hair and jewellery fell off from the bed linen ,which was proof that they were never changed.
The bathroom had hair in the shower and on the floor,with filthy towels as well.
Hair was also on the floors in the bedroom and the kitchen,cutlery was not cleaned as well.
We are greatful that the night duty gentleman helped us at midnight to change the bed linen himself.
In the morning when we asked for our refund for the following night that we were not willing to sleep in,we were told we will be refunded in 7-14w/days which we complained about with the reception.The receptionist relayed this to the manager but that resulted in a back and forth of unclear communication of what exactly was to be done.The manager has zero accountability,she/he refused to even come to meet us and speak to us , acknowledge our complaints,assure us of our refund , especially when exactly it will be done
The residency needs to urgently review their management some of its staff. Its poor and inefficient.
