25.09.05 Book this hotel immediately! Humbly speaking, I’ve stayed at 4–5 star properties all around the world, and Costa Verde is easily in my top three of all time. My friends stayed at other hotels in Manuel Antonio and Quepos, but somehow we always ended the night at Costa Verde—it just became the natural gathering spot. As a solo woman traveler, I also want to highlight how safe I felt here, both during the day and at night, which made my stay even more relaxing.
The resort itself is unlike anywhere I’ve stayed. It has a unique setup with gorgeous views everywhere you turn—whether from the pools, the hiking trails, or even your room balcony. The property is beautifully expansive and hilly, but they provide complimentary transportation throughout, which makes getting around effortless. They also offer shuttles to surrounding restaurants, affordable laundry, and daily cleaning that was consistently superb.
One of my favorite features was their WhatsApp service—it felt like having a concierge in your pocket. Anytime I had a question, wanted to request food or room service, or needed a ride, I simply messaged and they handled it right away. That level of attentiveness really stood out.
The three pools never felt crowded, which made them perfect for relaxing. The hiking trails were peaceful and serene, like having a private escape into nature. But the best part for me was the view from my porch. Each morning, I would spend at least two hours sipping coffee, completely mesmerized by the scenery—it was pure magic.
For all that it offers, the price is truly a steal. Between the views, the service, the amenities, and the overall atmosphere, Costa Verde delivers far beyond expectations. If (or when) I return to Manuel Antonio, this will be the first hotel I book—without hesitation.
