Los Suenos Marriott Ocean & Golf Resort

We had a great stay at Marriott( 6/26-6/30. The weather was only enjoyable during the day and like clockwork at 4pm it would be pouring rain every day except on our check out day of course( rainy season) Good selection of restaurants to choose from since you can’t walk anywhere to get food. The pool was large and plenty of lounge chairs. Not overly crowded like other resorts. Here are some trip tips: 1. Definitely book a stay that includes breakfast. They have a great breakfast buffet. Otherwise, it was about $28 pp(adult) a day. So it can add up quick just for breakfast. 2. Bring small bills for tips at restaurants, excursions, drivers, etc. Hotel was able to accommodate breaking my bills if needed. 3. I bought those stretchy bug repellent bracelets, wore it on wrist and ankle and it works great. Hope this info helps your trip.

The location was fantastic, and the service at the Hacienda restaurant was outstanding. However, the amenities at this hotel were disappointing. Many outdoor options like kayaking and paddleboards weren’t functioning, and the few available were restricted to specific times with only 30-minute sessions. While my family did have a good time, we ended up exploring outside the hotel for activities. The excursions offered by the concierge were overpriced, so we opted to book on our own. When we rented a cabana for a day, it was surrounded by ants, which affected our experience. The saving grace was the exceptional staff at the Hacienda restaurant. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for an all-around great stay.
