25.02.19Hybrid hotel & hostel. The private room option with bathroom and hot showers are as expected and we slept perfectly. The staff are kind and patient and knowledgeable about the area. Walk around the village of La Fortuna. Access to all the desirable ecotourism treasures in the area.
25.02.19 The place looked a bit rundown and depressive. Mattress was not comfortable. Shower water was not enough warm.
The staff was kind and helpful. Breakfast was decent as well!
I would personally choose another place next time I visit.

24.07.27 We loved the hotel, and the breakfast was very good! The staff was very friendly and helpful when we had problems. We also loved the free shuttle to the hot springs, but we had wished we could have stayed longer there (only an hour more or less). What we didn't like is that the kitchen is small and at 7 o 8pm everyone wants to use it at the same time and it's complicated. Also in the room there was just a table, and no place to store clothes or a coat rack to put the jackets... Thank you very much !
24.05.02 La choza is a quaint boutique hotel with sheard rooms and private at very affordable pricing. No much curb appeal but THE VIEW is amazing. The front desk crew is extremely helpful, but you have to ask. My mistake was not knowing they would help you book shuttle transport from city to city at an affordable rate. They also offer a variety of activities tickets included or just shuttle to various sites. Rooms were always clean when I came back the end of the day with cute towel folding art. If you're a budget travel definitely recommend La choza inn for your stay in la fortuna costa rica.
