Very clean facility. Rooftop restaurant is excellent. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful.

My husband and I booked this hotel because it was listed as a Luxury Suite but in reality is was a “Dump”. The walls were decrepit, the tile floors had tons of cracked tiles. The shower was so scary that my husband wouldn’t shower in it. The shades had cracks in them and our outdoor patio was laden with pigeon poop. We were given only two towels and no glasses( which made it difficult to brush our teeth. There was extremely loud music and very loud people partying until 3:45 AM. And to top it off: the a/c wasn’t working! It was extremely uncomfortable. I did go downstairs to the lobby to ask for a refund but the young lady at the desk said that it wasn’t possible since we had booked with an outside agency(yours). I can’t believe our romantic getaway was ruined beyond repair!! Oh, and they charged us a $77.00 booking fee when we checked in. This nightmare cost us over $500.00. Please get us a refund!

We were very excited to stay at Ciqala-booked months in advance but was disappointed in many things. Check in was terrible had to wait over an hour and half to get our room. Our reservation said express check in and all fees and taxes included. We were charged an additional $199 for fees at hotel. We witnessed this happen to at least four other people checking in also. One of the reasons we booked was the rooftop restaurant that was supposed to be opening daily. It was closed the first day and only opened at night. The website says (and still does) they were opened daily from 11am until 11pm.When we did eat there the host was rude and told us at first there were no table even though it was almost 3/4 empty. I will our dinner and drinks were amazing. They did not have coffee in rooms for our entire- said they had ran out. We were there 3 nights:( Housekeeping walked into our room at 8am without knocking-she said her list said room was empty. Staff was not helpful and some just unfriendly. The positives were the made to order breakfast was delicious and hot and there is a great little shop next door that has everything you need and the friendliest staff and customers. Overall we feel we were way overcharged for this hotel and will definitely be contesting the additional charges.
