CasaBlanca Hotel Old San Juan

We stayed at the Casablanca Hotel for two nights and had a great experience. The hotel has a very eclectic, boutique feel that makes it stand out from typical hotels! The staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay, and the room was comfortable and nicely appointed. The location is excellent - very close to shops, restaurants, and the waterfront, making it easy to explore the area on foot. A big plus was that the hotel offers secure luggage storage, which allowed us to drop off our bags and explore the area before check-in. As another bonus, it was a short elevator ride to the cozy rooftop lounge spaces, which included Jacuzzi and stone tubs! Overall, we would definitely recommend staying here when visiting San Juan.

I only stayed there for one night. Price is okay for what it is. Staff is super kind and friendly but my room was sooo soo dirty. Random hair everywhere, floors felt sandy and dirty, bed was also dirty with hair and like some little balls or pebbles or something, I don’t know. Other than that, it’s okay

The rooftop tubs were honestly the best part of this stay — super relaxing and a beautiful vibe. But once we got to the room, things went downhill fast. Our room was dark and had no windows, which just felt strange and kind of claustrophobic. Every time the elevator next door moved, the room made this weird dull echo — like sleeping next to a haunted fridge. The pillows were flat and sad, the kind you fold in half just to feel something. The shower was tiny and took forever to warm up, and there was dust all over the chandelier, which definitely didn’t add any charm. The hotel looks way better in photos than in real life — which was disappointing. And parking wasn’t included. The lot next door was $28 and cash only, which was a total hassle. I really wanted to like this place, but I wouldn’t stay here again. The rooftop deserves a better hotel underneath it.

Beautiful hotel and comfortable room. Enjoyed the roof lounge on rainy afternoons. I'm not a fan of AC, but windows don't open. Clean, but use toxic products... room smelled of bleach all night!
