very clean and comfortable

I only stayed one night but the room was clean and welcoming. The window was small and high up and there wasn’t a view but that was ok for such a short stay. Reception staff so friendly and helpful though.

During check-in, in addition to the USD 150 deposit, they charged USD 38.15 as a destination fee that was never mentioned in the booking information. We were not informed of this charge and only discovered it a few hours later while reviewing our expenses.

The hotel was very clean and cool! Great location in Old San Juan just steps from dining, drinking, and shopping. There is no hotel parking available for those who drive in. Room 401 is directly behind the elevator and the noise could be heard when it is in operation. I imagine 101, 201, and 301 would have the same issue. Other than that, everything was fine.

The price in October 2025 was amazing and the facilities are brand new. But be careful - they surprise you with a $38.15 "destination fee" when you check in, so you will have to pay more. I liked that they provided a loofah and amenity kit in the room, as well as a coffee machine. Just be sure to bring your own bottled water for the machine. But the mini fridge was a nice addition as well.
