La Terraza De San Juan

This place is a gem and the people running it were very accommodating and friendly. Unfortunately, the pool was closed for extensive work while we were there but it looks like it would be amazing enjoying it on the rooftop terrace. Our room was gorgeous. We can’t wait to get back for another visit!

Arrived on Feb 1 2026, left at 10:00 a.m. on Feb 2 2026 In our opinion the room was unsanitary and we left a day early due to potential health concerns and illness. A few items observed • Sanitary Items: • Cannot flush toilet paper in the toilet; you need to put it in a bag and then put it in the trash can (without lid), which is unsanitary and did not have a lid o Hotel staff stated this is common and the same for all hotels in Old San Juan. This is not the case as we stayed in Old San Juan at the Urbana on 1/24 and had a toilet that allowed toilet paper to be flushed. • The shower does not drain properly; the floor is not sloped, so water collects in the middle • No hand soap in the bathroom for sanitary cleaning • The sink in the bathroom does not have a stopper • Mold on the Lampshade • The bedroom Tile floor is dirty • Microwave and glass door dirty – not cleaned • There are no AC remotes in the room; you have to call the front desk for the AC temperature to be changed; although the room did stay cool, we had to call to have the AC temperature increased. In addition there is a sign on the wall that states you should turn off the lights and AC when you leave but you do not have the remote to do so • The door is not secured very well and did not feel safe Tahts it - stay at your own discretion

We stayed here for our anniversary and absolutely loved it. The location was perfect, very close to everything we wanted to do. The only small downside was parking, but it didn’t take away from our experience. The staff was super friendly and made our stay even better. We truly enjoyed our time and would definitely stay again.

They need to work on: Air condition Tv access Hot water Clean pool area Necesita cariño y los cuartos hay que tenerlos listos con lo básico. Por el momento no puedo recomendarlo.

The only positive about my stay was the location. In the middle of old city and 15 min walk to the beach. AC situation. They dont give you the remote for it, you have to ask them to come to your room everytime you need it adjusted. Next, there is no hot water. Asked the receptionist and was told they were fixing it and it will be hot shortly. Never happened. Apparently, it's a constant issue judging from the past reviews.
