26.03.27Loved everything about the room: the views, the terrace, the Hinoki bath, the cleanliness of it. The staff were also really lovely and helpful, but there was one issue that left me feeling very uncomfortable...
I asked for them to book me a taxi, they said they have a driver they use and I would need to pay them (fine, price was no different from getting your own taxi but no receipt). The driver was lovely until he started to talk about Muslims not being compatiable with Japanese culture and migration being a problem. Fine, he can have this views, but please keep them to yourself. As a Muslim (not a visible one), I was left in shock that I didn't know what to say. Again, up until sharing this, he was very nice. Maybe the ryokan can have a word with him, and ask him not share his political views with passengers.
25.09.14What a find- spotless, traditional small hotel in the literal heart of Asakusa with staff that goes above and beyond to be welcoming and helpful! You won't regret your stay here- it's a couple steps away from Sensoji temple, has laundry facilities, incredible traditional Japanese breakfast and thoughtful appointments throughout the room.
25.07.14Pros - Convenient location in Asakusa. Easy to move around Tokyo by metro and bus. Clean ryokan with a modern bathroom. Staff is helpful and friendly but not the professional type you encounter in a 5-star hotel.
Cons - Not a full service hotel. Room furnishings e..g. TV and bathroom fixtures are not top notch but not a deal breaker if you just need a clean room and bathroom to shower at the end of the day. Hot water with strong consistent pressure.
25.06.30Nice clean and modern ryokan in the heart of asakusa. Near the train station and sensoji. Good value for money
25.01.19Japanese perfection in every aspect! Highly recommended for prime location, quality, cleanliness, facilities.
