26.02.16Stay was nice, although location of the resort is a bit far from prime city, but still it is manageable by scooty, also it is just in front of Corbyns Cove Beach. Resort itself is a beautiful place to just walk and relax.
25.12.10I am extremely disappointed with the way Peerless Resort Port Blair handled my booking. Due to the ongoing IndiGo flight debacle, my flight was completely cancelled, leaving me stranded at the airport for over 12 hours and making it impossible to reach Port Blair. This was an exceptional, unavoidable situation entirely beyond my control.
Despite clearly explaining the circumstances, the hotel showed zero empathy, zero flexibility, and zero willingness to help. They refused to offer any refund, date change, or even a simple credit note. This level of rigidity is shocking—especially for a hotel that positions itself as a reputed resort.
What makes it worse is that the booking amount was substantial, and the hotel still chose to retain the entire sum without providing any service whatsoever. In my years of travelling, I have seen many hotels step up during unavoidable travel disruptions. Peerless Resort, however, chose to do the opposite—demonstrating an approach that felt insensitive, uncompassionate, and purely profit-driven.
For future travelers: if your plans depend on flights (especially to islands where cancellations are common), be aware that this hotel will not support you in any exceptional situation. They will strictly hide behind policy, even when common sense and basic hospitality call for flexibility.
A hotel’s true character shows during a crisis. Unfortunately, Peerless Resort has shown how little they value their guests.
