Room is comfortable and had all the amenities needed.

I booked a smoking room, the smoking smell was so strong when I got the room. I was hoping it would get better but after returning after 4 hours the smell was the same. Other than that the hotel is new and nice. But ventilation is poor that I do not recommend to stay in the smoking rooms.

I would recommend this hotel, they have a parking lot available for cheap and the rooms are clean and simple. Good location

The location is a bit out of the way, but it's very close to the subway station. There's a slight smell when you open the room, and I don't know what's causing it.

We stayed in five hotels during our trip to Japan, and throughout our journey, we were consistently impressed by the politeness and hospitality of Japanese people — except at this hotel. Our experience at Hotel Wing International Kobe Shinnagata Ekimae was extremely disappointing due to the rude and unprofessional attitude of the front desk staff. We arrived just one hour before check-in, understanding that early check-in might not be possible. However, the staff flatly told us to wait until 3 PM, without any courtesy or attempt to check if the room was ready. When we returned at 3 PM, we were again told to wait, even though no other guests were being served at that time. When we insisted on checking in, the female staff walked away, and a male colleague took over, asking curtly what we wanted. After we told him we wished to check in, he claimed that the room was not ready and told us to wait another 30 minutes. When we pressed further, he reluctantly took the room key tag from our assigned folder, revealing that the room was already prepared. This was the only hotel in Japan where we encountered such discourteous and dismissive behavior. The lack of professionalism and basic courtesy at the front desk left a very poor impression. We hope the management will seriously review the service standards at this property, as the staff’s conduct does not reflect the warmth and hospitality that Japan is known for.
