Location is top notch as it is just outside Yamagata Station. Rooms are larger than normal as far as Japan hotels go. Everything is clean and they do daily cleaning. Breakfast is also so filling even if it is just a Japanese style set meal. Perfect place to stay if you will be skiing in the Zao Onsen area and nearby other resorts

Less than five minutes on foot from Yamagata Station. The staff here are in "incognito" mode. The only time I was able to see and talk to someone from the front office was when I checked-in. Nobody got out from the back office even if I rang the bell. It is an old hotel but still in good condition. Though I had issues with the bidet not retracting and the overhead vent which was covered with dust. I did not like the shower faucet as well because I had to find the right temp every time I open the hot and cold knobs. The room is spacious though and the bed is comfortable to sleep in. Grateful to the hotel for granting my request for an upper floor room. I noticed this was the cheapest hotel near the station at time of booking. No coin laundry machine I believe. I could not confirm since nobody was manning the front office. If you are bringing a car, there is a carpark building in front. Walkable to the Yamagata Castle ruins. MaxValu Supermarket on the west side of the station around 10 minutes on foot. There is a smaller supermarket inside the station.

The location is amazing next to the station. The whole hotel smells really badly. The lobby is on the 3rd floor, I arrived a little before checkin time at 3pm and there was no one at the reception so I had to wait. Staff was a little less service oriented than the standard in Japan. The room was made up every day, sadly there was no sign or a way to not get new towels and sheets every day, which would be more sustainable especially if you are only staying for a few nights.

평점도 낮고 해서 좀 불안했는데 이 가격에 이정도는 가성비 너무너무 좋은 것 같아요 건물이 오래되긴 했는데 방은 깨끗하고 넓고 다 좋았습니다. 수압도 좋았고요! 콘센트가 적긴 했는데 저흰 돌아가면서 충전해서 크게 불편함을 느끼진 못했습니다

야마가타 역이랑도 가깝고 편의점도 도보 5~10분 내에 있어서 편리했습니다. 일본 여행을 자주 다녀서 여러 호텔들에 묵어봤었는데, 방도 생각보다 컸습니다. 직원분들 친절하시고 돌발 상황 대처도 잘 해주셨습니다. 만약 또 다시 야마가타에 간다면 이 호텔에 묵을 것 같네요 :)
