22.11.10 Location was fantastic having beachfront room with sea view, to be able to watch the sunset at the comfort of your room. It's also near to a lot or restaurants, really plenty to choose from.
WiFi from our room was really bad, we'll if your there for holiday and always being out for adventures, it's alright but if you need WiFi for work, then that's gonna be a problem. Not sure with other bedrooms if they have good signal.
No breakfast included,which is what we wanted and we can have that flexibility of getting up and eating when we're ready.
Water in the shower takes time to drain, so we have to wait for 10-15 minutes for the next one to have a shower.
Good air-conditioning specially for hot weather.
Good size bedroom (but a bit tired looking and dark) since they have a little kitchen which we didn't actually use.
They have a laundry service, quite pricey though.
Staffs were nice and polite.
22.10.06 Staffs are very accommodating. The property is clean and they provided all we need during our stay. Looking forward to stay with them again next time.
22.08.22 I was pleasantly surprised with Sandcastles Apartment. The facilities are good, but the location is perfect! It's centrally located, between station 1 and 2, and just a short walk from D-Mall. The area is quiet, plus you have a beach front location.
The price is reasonable, especially if you are travelling with a group. Get the 2-BR apartment with a beachfront view. The beds are large (king or queen), and the 2BR apartment has 2 T&B, which is perfect.
It also comes with a kitchenette, ref, and a living area to just chill with friends or family, if you're tired from the bar or beach scene.
The staff are really accommodating, and super friendly. Will definitely consider booking again here.
22.06.24 We were a group of 5 and the Maranaw room was a perfect fit. It had 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and it came with all of the essentials like bath and beach towels, toiletries, dining equipment, cold drinking water, etc. and they also offer laundry services. The staff were friendly and they can also arrange activities for you. The hotel's location is excellent as well (too bad the whole building is currently for sale).
Make sure to get the caretaker's contact number though. One time we went home around 4-5am and the entrance door was locked and the caretaker wasn't sleeping at the lobby (they lock it every night and the caretaker usually sleeps at the lobby when guests go out at night). We were knocking and calling the hotel's number for almost an hour. In the end, one of us had to climb up to the balcony of our room and force one of the doors open and then open the main entrance door lol
