26.03.07A little gem in near Syambhu. Lovely garden , the building has been well maintained. Had a room with a balcony, shower was beautiful ..the only thing is could have stayed longer. If you want to be away from the Noise outside, come here..oh and the food is gorgeous, had the grill fish..memorable…

25.03.19 The staff, especially in the dining room, are friendly and accommodating. It made a 10 day stay a very positive experience and a good base for the visit to Kathmandu. The buildings and grounds are very pleasant and relaxing. My room was generous. My only minor issue was that hot water took a while to manifest in the shower.
25.03.03 I could not have thought of a better place to stay in Kathmandu than Hotel Vajra. It has a very good atmosphere and is beautifully decorated. My room was spacy and had all the facilities I needed, even cosy bedlights. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The wifi in the room could have been more stable and the water in the shower hotter since it was a little could at this time of the year. But that doesn’t lower my recommendation the least. I will definitely come back!
24.11.03 A beautiful hotel full of interesting features with the most amazing grounds filled with trees, flowers and birdsong. The staff are friendly and helpful, the food excellent. Within easy walking distance of Swayambunath which you can see from the roof. If you want to get away from the noise and traffic of Thamel then this is the place.
