26.04.21Bed comfy, common area nice, breakfast included, a lot of the staff are very nice. Clean dorms, only complaint is almost every night there’s people waking up at 4am for the slow boat to Laos at 5am. But it is what it is, not the hostels fault.
26.04.06Overall good stay. Price was a bit high for the area. Breakfast was a white sandwich bread, hard boiled eggs, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, and sausages. Glad to see an air purifier, but it looked very cheap.
26.03.24I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Mercy Hostel. It’s one of those rare places that manages to be both social and incredibly peaceful.
What made it special for me:
The Vibe: There is so much space for socializing and the atmosphere is very cozy. I especially loved the two outdoor smoking areas: one with proper chairs and tables (no cheap plastic!), and another one that feels like an outdoor living room with a comfortable sofa set.
The Rooms: The beds have curtains, which I really appreciated for the extra privacy and a great night's sleep.
Facilities: A well-equipped kitchen and a very convenient laundry area with both washing machines and a dryer—a huge plus!
The Staff: They are incredibly friendly and helpful. And of course, the hostel cat adds such a homey feel to the place!
If you’re looking for a clean, friendly, and well-organized hostel with great common areas in Chiang Rai, look no further. I’ll definitely be back!
26.03.22I had a really pleasant stay at this hotel. The location is perfect—very close to the Night Bazaar and easy to walk everywhere. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the atmosphere felt warm and welcoming.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-organized. I especially liked how quiet and relaxing.
Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely stay here again.
