Hotel des Recollets

For the price and the star rating it was nice. We had stayed at some extremely nice places and had to book this place in a pinch (due to the nearby Villa Des Consuls completely screwing over our reservation). Recollets was accommodating, if otherwise unremarkable. Good price for what you get.

great location and property full of character. Our room was supposed to be a comfort room which I felt was very small and not a comfort room as advertised. The window in our room opened directly onto the breakfast table of the diners outside which was not what I expected and meant we had to keep the blind down in the morning to keep any privacy when showering/dressing. There was frosted glass but this was still not giving you much privacy as the diners heads were less then half a meter from the window. Also we arrived to find the check in is closed from 11 until 5pm which I thought should have been made more obvious when booking.

2 étoiles mais pas plus, cependant petit déjeuner dans le patio très agréable.

j'ai loué via votre site une chambre avec l'accès direct sur le patio intérieur et à l'arrivée nous nous sommes retrouvés au 2°étage dans une chambre qui ne correspondait en rien à ce que j'avais réservé ! De qui en est la responsabilité je ne sais pas ? La prochaine fois j'appellerai l'hôtel directement car j'ai été très contrarié ! En tout cas en positif cet hôtel est super bien placé dans le centre de Sarlat et très calme !
