Very friendly and welcoming staff at reception and breakfast, couldn’t be more helpful. Room was very tidy, TV a little on the minute side and the mattress could be better, but very good value for the area, so did the trick.
Window in bedroom had view of the river. Across the road had tables and chairs next to the river. The guest breakfast was delicious and service was great.
A little far out of town, but clean and quiet. We had en-suite facilities, but not all rooms do. Breakfast was good, with friendly staff, and a warm guest lounge with honesty bar facilities was available. Our room (Stirling) was very comfortable and reasonably big by Scottish standards. Overall a very good 3 star b&b.
Overall, the property was nice. The man who checked us in was a little confused and took a while, though. The only real down side of the place was that we could hear loud music and singing coming from downstairs (I believe it was the same man who checked us in) until almost 23:00. Thankfully, it did stop about the time we were going to sleep, but it was still very annoying. The lady who made us breakfast, who I believe was the purveyor, was very nice and accommodating.
Aanrader.
