We had a pleasant and comfortable stay at the hotel. The staff is courteous and very prompt in attending to guest needs. The rooms are neat, clean, and comfortable, with spacious bathrooms. However, the availability of hot water is limited to 4 hours each in the morning and evening, and the water pressure in the shower is inadequate and fluctuates frequently. Despite this, a traditional bucket bath proved to be a practical alternative. The in-house restaurant, though slightly expensive, offers excellent food. During breakfast hours, the staff appears overstretched and struggles to manage the high demand, but at other times, they go out of their way to ensure a delightful dining experience. A special mention goes to Chatter Singh, who, along with the rest of the team, makes guests feel at home with their warm and hospitable service. The hotel boasts beautiful traditional local architecture, a modern gym, and a swimming pool, adding to its charm. Evening entertainment, including live folk dance and music, creates a memorable atmosphere, and the warm welcome with traditional music is a nice touch. While the property is located slightly away from the city center, the hotel can quickly arrange a local auto-rickshaw for convenience. Overall, this is a recommended hotel for a comfortable and culturally rich experience, offering excellent service without unnecessary frills.
