22.05.08 Pool water was not filtered, has filth particles, pool floor was slippery with green algae. Light points in the pool were without cover. Overall not a satisfying swimming experience in this pool.
22.02.14 What can you say about Taj? It maintains its quality in any location you visit. Whether its Lucknow or the iconic Taj in Mumbai the standard is the same and well trained staff are always on hand. I like the way they have cultivated the ethnic look in Lucknow in keeping with the city of Nawabs. The cuisine on offer is also a mix of the traditional Mughlai and a healthy blend of International recipes. The rooms are spacious and airy with an individual balcony opening towards the pool or the garden, whichever view you have selected on offer. If not using the pool due to Covid guidelines, you can take a stroll in the mornings around the pool as it is surrounded by a well maintained huge garden/lawn with adequate benches to sit and enjoy a good outdoor read as well. The restaurant also offers outdoor tables if you wish to enjoy the breeze or sunshine while contemplating your scrumptous meal. For the solo of family holiday traveller visiting Lucknow its well situated from the iconic landmarks. A good stay is a combination of the above.
21.12.30 Special mention for Mr Santaram. I feel such human beings are an asset to the organisation. However those I have not mentioned deserves the same praise.. cheers!
