로얄 오키드 브린다반 가든

Great heritage property located inside Brindavan gardens. Well managed hotel with clean rooms, excellent food and pleasant staff headed by M. Anto. Enjoyed our short stay over the weekend.

The garden seems to be undergoing a renovation. The paths were broken and fountains turned off. There were broken dustbins and dog poop lying around on road. Lot of sand used for cement was spread around broken pathways and roads. Now specifically for the hotel the staff was slow to respond. From night till late morning no staff was available. Even if phone in lobby rings nobody picks up in morning. Every staff from housekeeping to security explicitly expects tipping. Now tipping when you have a happy experience is good but this time it seemed undeserving given the quality of service. I had to wait in morning to check out because nobody was available at reception. The restaurant also did not open at the assured time in morning. There were cobwebs on left side of reception desk and in room balcony. Most of the experience was ruined by the broken garden undergoing renovations but the hotel service was extremely mediocre as well during my visit this time

Good scenic location and next to dam. Good rooms with balcony view of dam . Great food and place
