23.04.04I booked through the conference organizer to attend a conference, and although I received a letter confirming my reservation, 3 nights turned into 2 nights, and my room key card was suddenly invalidated. The front desk, which is always manned by only one person, was overcrowded and it took 50 minutes to process an extra night.
The room was old, the bath towels looked like tired foot towels, and the windows were dirty because they had not been cleaned in months.
I ordered a cab to the airport at the front desk and was told by the driver that the fare to the airport it was double the normal fare.
After I dropped off,I was looking at the front desk and saw the front desk man handing money to the cab driver in question. Looks like it was returning a silent commission,,,,?
