26.04.23We booked a room for three and were hoping to have a relaxed time. The room was as good as any 3–4 star hotel room. We chose this hotel because I really admire the ITC group of hotels and their warmth and hospitality; we chose it over the Radisson Hotel.
Staff at the gate – 5/5, room staff – 5/5. Roof top restaurant and view of the city was awesome, Food was so good. The spa was fabulous and felt totally paisa vasool because of the amazing massage. However, having said that, for the first time in my life I came across a front desk that did not smile at all. I appreciate the staff member who brought a wheelchair for my mom as soon as we arrived. It felt so good, but then we were left alone with the keys for a good 15 minutes to find our rooms. I took my mom to the room in a wheelchair.
It was a Sunday rush, which is understandable, but it immediately put us off and made us feel cheated. If your staff is overburdened, then please have more people on busy days. I will never book ITC hotels just by the name now. It was a disappointing experience.
