26.03.11Quiet, nice and relaxing area.
26.02.14Room was nice but no River view as was downstairs so view of the road (Although booking clearly stated Balcony with River View) so Do confirm this when booking!
Room was nice, mattress soft, was clean & quiet, but we paid for a River View! Breakfast below average for the price but set in nice quiet garden. Need Fresh baked bread from bakery & real coffee!
Friendly staff but overpriced for Laos!
26.01.22As mentioned in all the other reviews all the staff here are lovely and always smiling and so helpful
The rooms are beautiful, clean, spacious, beds comfortable, great hot shower
the villa is in a fantastic location and really close to a beautiful viewing point where the Mekong meets the Nam khan
breakfast was good with fresh fruit
The coffee was amazing
I just can’t recommend this place enough
26.01.08This Villa is very nice and clean with beautiful landscapes. The location is not near night market but it’s walkable there. We like this location as it’s very quiet and convenience to walk around town. The view from the balcony is beautiful with direct view of river. The host is friendly and helpful. Breakfast is just ok and simple. We would stay here again.
26.01.03Bottom line - we didn't sleep in this hotel and were transferred to another hotel.
And now I'll try to phrase it carefully: we arrived at the hotel late in the evening after the last train and when we arrived at the hotel we were greeted with orange juice and a huge smile.
The guy who introduced himself as the owner (I think he's just a manager) was friendly and explained the area to us and then after all the niceties, tried his successful method and told us that he had another hotel in a better location, a hotel exactly the same. He claimed that the hotel was full and tried to convince us with niceties. All this is happening while I'm going to Google reviews of the hotel he wanted to transfer to us and see half good responses and half bad. The half bad ones warn of the exact same story, of cheating, in which they booked the hotel and were required to move to another hotel. We tried to persuade him not to move but in the end we fell for his trick, mainly because we had 3 tired children from the trip. Overall, I think both hotels are not good, it's not that one was good and the other wasn't, but all this reception simply makes the feeling of hospitality an unpleasant experience - one of the first rules of do's and don'ts in hotels.
Now to the point - the room with 4 beds and little space to move, the towels are disgusting, almost brown in color with the smell of oil, the soap in the shower smells of oil, the mattress is hard, and the pillows under the pillowcases are stained and disgusting.
Throughout the entire stay, the same hotel owner was very nice.
Basic and cute breakfast - it's clear that it's better to eat the more expensive things in cafes.
So if you haven't been able to understand what I'm saying from all this, then I'll say it clearly - it's not worth booking!
And you, AGODA, need to address this issue urgently and can't have a hotel like this in your arsenal that makes deals on guests. If I booked something, I expect to receive it.
