25.03.31I really enjoyed my almost week long stay there. The place is built in 1980 as one of ministry buildings, so you kinda travel to late Soviet Union, because the rooms kept the original setting. Only AC, fridge and hot shower device were attached later. The place is well maintained and kept clean, rooms are spacious and the air is clean in the area and it's so quite at night. Pricewise the place is a good choice as well. Everything is amazing except for one thing - you have to love walking as me, or have some vehicle to travel, as the place is far away from anything. Closest 711 would be 7-10 minutes walk, which is incredible, I never thought it is possible in Thailand. Also you can't wish for a better neighbor, as the palace across the road is His Royal Highness residency, so he is technically your closest neighbor as all other buildings around are some kind of universities, ministries and buildings alike and nobody lives there.
So if it's ok for you to walk 10 minutes to a closest coffee or shop or coffee shop (even longer), and you like site seeing and adventure on an affordable budget - this place is a gem for you
