Lamai Chalet

Me and my friend stayed for 5 nights and liked our cozy rustical bungalow with it's porch very much. The beach is close and you can enjoy food and drinks in their beachbar. The pool was a nice refreshment when we felt too hot from the sun. The staff has been very kind and super helpful, handling us an umbrella when it started raining and sharing some good advice. Lamai beach is more quiet than others and we enjoyed that very much. Everything is easy to reach. We had a pleasant stay. Thank you!

When I arrived (8.30pm) there was no-one at the reception area & a hand written message to call a number. I called and no answer, but they soon called me back. The guy arrived a while later and took me to my room. The Aircon was poor and the water heater didn't have hot water, a tough first night and morning shower. I then met the owner and she was very kind to immediately change me to to different room and I chose one on the beachfront, right on the beach. Great room, Aircon and hot shower. they didn't come to change the bedding nor towels after 2 nights so I asked for clean towels and they obliged immediately. I'd recommend the continental rather than the American breakfast & great value. the swimming pool is small but nice, but then, we are right on the beach. in conclusion, I had a great stay but I had to ask for things rather than being asked and I guess that is part of the laid-back experience and charm of this place. In the (unlikely) even I go back to K Samui, I'd definitely stay at this place again

I throughly enjoyed my stay! The staff lady is very very helpful and nice!

Great place in terms of location. Not too far from Lamai night markets and main beach. The single bed chalets are not great. Curtains don’t block light and the beds are like laying on the floor. We had to change to a bigger bed room and AC because it was way too hot, the beds sucked and our shower was a dribble. The room we moved to was better, but double the price. Not as clean as it could be and quite old interior. However, work is being done and the staff work hard in the heat all day! Great free sun beds on the beach for guests, perfect next to the cold water:)
