Despite being a large property, maintenance is extremely poor. We were initially allotted a room with a non-functional bathroom light. After multiple follow-ups, we were informed that it could not be fixed, forcing a room change. The replacement room was located in a dark, isolated corner of the building. Even though the property was largely empty, our request for a well-lit, open-location room was outright ignored. This reflects poor guest handling and indifference.
Food:
The food experience was unacceptable. We were informed at reception that à la carte dining was not available and that we had to rely on the buffet. The buffet spread was extremely limited, badly prepared, and outright unpleasant. The spices were excessive and poorly balanced, the chicken was undercooked, and the overall quality was below even basic standards. Charging ₹1,700 for two people for such food is unjustifiable and felt like a complete waste.
Staff:
The property was severely understaffed. There was no assistance with luggage, and guests were expected to manage everything themselves. This level of service is unacceptable for a property positioning itself as a palace hotel.
Overall Experience:
This stay was deeply disappointing on all fronts—maintenance, food quality, and service. The overall rating for this property is 0, and it is not recommended to anyone. Significant corrective action is required before this property can be considered suitable for guests.
