I booked this stay in advance on April 21 for May 1–3, specifically choosing a unit at 8 Newtown Boulevard with 2 queen beds and a functional kitchen suitable for 4 adults. Unfortunately, upon arrival, I was informed that the original unit was no longer available and we were transferred to a unit at One Pacific Residences instead. Check-in was also very inconvenient. Standard check-in time was supposed to be around 2PM–3PM, and we arrived before 3PM, but we were only able to enter the unit around 5PM–6PM due to the issues with the accommodation. The replacement unit only had 1 double bed and 1 rollaway bed, which was not what was advertised or booked. The kitchen amenities were also incomplete - only the refrigerator, microwave, and electric kettle were functional. The stove was not working, and the old small frying pan provided was unusable, which was disappointing since we planned to cook during our stay. The bathroom shower head also seemed clogged, resulting in very low water pressure. There was also a Wi-Fi router in the unit, but although we could connect to it, there was no actual internet connection during our stay. I hope this gets checked as reliable internet is very important for guests. Communication with the original host was also poor, as they did not respond through Agoda messages or the contact number provided. I’m thankful another host with an available unit was able to accommodate us, otherwise we would have had nowhere to stay for the weekend. While I appreciate still having a place to stay, it was not the unit I booked and paid for. I also hope condo unit owners can better coordinate with the management of Mactan Newtown Beach regarding beach access. Guests already pay for their condo stay, while unit owners also shoulder maintenance and beach access fees, so charging guests an additional ₱500 feels unnecessary and unfair. We were also required by the beach front desk personnel to pay the full ₱500 beach access fee for our 9-year-old child simply because she was taller than expected for her age, and no receipt was provided for the payment.

The condo is near to everything you basically need while traveling. The room is equipped with utensils and essentials in the kitchen. It would have been nicer if there was a full body mirror and they could have provided rugs as well Furthermore The lift of building 1 , was not functioning well maybe u can have it fixed in due time. Over all it was a very pleasant stay. Thank you and more power!
