I stayed one night at the hotel and the experience was dreadful. At check-in, I was charged a city tax, which I know is payable all over Morrrica. When I made the booking it said taxes and fees were included. When I spoke to the reception staff I was simply told everyone has to pay and to take up this matter with the booking agent. The room was average but there was no air conditioning and it was really hot. When I questioned this, I was told the AC is switched off during the winter months and to 'open the windows'. I did this but the noise levels in the the street were dreadful so I barely slept during the night. Before going to bed, I decided to have a shower and there was no hot water - I had no energy left to take this matter up. In the morning, there was hot water so was able to have a hot shower. The breakfast is very average with little variety. The location of the hotel is pretty much next to the Rabat Ville train station, and some of the key attraction such as the Medina and the Hassan Tower are within a 20 minute walking distance. Would I use this hotel again? Definitely not!
